I have 1.5 installed from the Ubuntu repo. Thanks for the reply anyway. I
wasn't aware previously it was because of multiple files, and at least this
thread taught me that because removing all of them but one and renaming it
to guitar.ogg works, though the audio is obviously missing all the tracks
that are removed. Libswscale-dev is the only thing listed as a dependency
that isn't the most recent version. I'm assuming you would only need that
to compile from source though, correct? The bin in the Ubuntu repo doesn't
list it as a dependency. Though if that fixes the problem for everyone
compiling from source, I guess it's just a problem with the broken-ass
binary then?
For the record I have: Python/python-dev 2.7.3, pyvorbis 1.5, pygame 1.9.1,
python-opengl 3.0.1, numpy 1.6.2 and imaging 1.1.7. So I don't know.
I understand not debugging unofficial binaries on this site, but if people
are also experiencing this with versions compiled from source it leads me
to believe that it's not simply an issue with the binary. I also have
attached my log, though it crashes at the exact same point as the OP's.
